Dear Visitors,

I warmly welcome all the Visitors of the site of the Children's Cancer Relief Foundation which has been taking care of the children affected by cancer from all over Poland since 1991. The issue of childhood cancer definitely does not receive wide public attention. There are still many misunderstandings and stereotypes concerning the cancer. They influence social attitudes towards an affected child and inspire excessive fear of the parents.

The basic goal of the Foundation is to bring comprehensive help to children suffering from cancer and to their families.

We struggle for their right to normal life and social acceptance. We try to do our best to relieve their suffering. We put a lot of effort so that the disease does not deprive them of happiness and joy, so that they can lead a life as similar as possible to a normal one. We wish that after the cancer trauma they pull themselves together and make their wishes come true. We also run a number of content-related programs and we are continuously upgrading our work methods and have ambitious plans for the future.

The Children's Cancer Relief Foundation was registered on August 8, 1991 in Warsaw and has been operating ever since. Each year we acquire around 80 new Beneficiaries. In March 2006 we received the status of public benefit organization.

§ 1

1. The Foundation by the name the Children's Cancer Relief Foundation, hereafter referred to as the Foundation, was established by a notarial deed of 20.06.1991, made by a notary of the State Notary Office in Warsaw /Register Nr A 12059/1991/.
2. The Foundation operates within the regulations of Act on foundation of 6.04.1984r /Dz.U. (English: Journal of Laws) No 21, item 97, Dz.U. No 46, item 203 - consolidated text/, The Regulation of Council of Ministers of 2.12.1985 /Dz.U. No 57, item 293/ about running business activity, Draft amendment to act on foundation of 23.02.1991 /Dz.U. No 19, item 82/ and the following status.
3. The area of the Foundation's activity is the Republic of Poland and its seat is the Capital City of Warsaw.
4. The Foundation may conduct charitable activities outside the boarders of the Republic of Poland in accordance with applicable regulations.
5. For the purpose of its activities, the Foundation may set up permanent or temporary local institutions.
6. The Foundation is a legal entity.
7. The time for the Foundation's activity is unlimited.
8. The Foundation uses a round stamp with the inscription: Fundacja Pomocy Dzieciom z Chorobą Nowotworową - Warszawa (Children's Cancer Relief Foundation - Warsaw) and the Foundation's logo.
